“After a year and a half, my experience with this claim has been nothing short of exhausting and deeply disappointing.

I suffered a serious injury while carrying out constant repetitive heavy lifting at Toyota, where I was repeatedly lifting well over a tonne of weight per hour as part of my job. As a result, I suffered two hernias, yet I never felt that my case was given the attention or seriousness it deserved. Throughout the entire process, I was repeatedly asked to tell the same story to different solicitors. Despite 18 months passing, my case was never sent to a barrister, and I was never arranged to see an independent medical specialist to properly assess my injuries. Instead of making progress, it felt like my claim was simply being passed from one person to another. After all this time, they decided to give up on my claim, leaving me feeling completely let down and as though my injuries and everything I had been through meant nothing. The lack of communication, commitment, and support has caused me unnecessary stress and frustration. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. If this is how they treat someone with a genuine workplace injury, then other customers deserve to know what they may be facing.

“It’s taken me a long time to write this review.

Firstly when I signed up with this company I was assigned Victoria who might I add was amazing! I was then passed to Daniel who was rubbish, I’d had an accident at work injured my back and damaged 2 discs. I was willing to go to court however Daniel hadn’t contacted my witnesses for statements and the day before trail I was forced to settle due to him being unprepared. I wouldn’t recommend this company in the slightest, please go elsewhere

“Aegis initially took on my younger brother’s case after he and my mother were involved in a bus incident caused by speeding.

He was stationary in his wheelchair at the time and suffered a severe head injury requiring stitches. After some time, Matthew Smith and his colleagues decided their case wasn’t worth it and then stopped responding to us altogether. Despite asking us if we would like to continue, leaving us without updates or proper communication. Very disappointing experience, especially given the circumstances. I would advise others to look elsewhere- this felt extremely unprofessional and lacking in care. Reference: 126030 - wasn’t looked into, they responded for no reason.
