Verified Solicitors is an online platform designed to help users search for, compare, shortlist and contact solicitors and law firms.

Verified Solicitors is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

We do not act as a user's solicitor, barrister, legal representative or agent.

Nothing displayed on the platform creates a solicitor-client relationship between a user and Verified Solicitors.

Search technology may use information supplied by users, regulatory data, practice areas, location, ratings, reviews, profile information and other relevant factors to identify and rank potentially relevant firms.

Search rankings are intended to help users navigate available firms.

They do not constitute legal advice or a guarantee that a particular firm is appropriate for a user's circumstances.

Users remain responsible for deciding which solicitor or law firm to instruct.

Verified Solicitors includes data supplied by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.

Regulatory information may include SRA numbers, authorisation information, office details, practice areas and other information supplied through SRA data services.

Although reasonable steps are taken to maintain current information, regulatory information may change.

Where regulatory status is important, users should confirm the current position using the official Solicitors Register.

The SRA does not endorse, sponsor or approve Verified Solicitors.

Verified Solicitors includes data supplied by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The SRA does not endorse, sponsor or approve Verified Solicitors.

References to firms being "Verified", "Verified by Verified Solicitors" or similar wording describe checks carried out or regulatory information obtained by Verified Solicitors.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, this terminology does not:

• constitute an endorsement
• guarantee quality of legal services
• guarantee the outcome of a legal matter
• mean the SRA endorses Verified Solicitors
• create a warranty concerning a firm

Profiles may contain information obtained from:

• SRA
• the firm
• publicly available sources
• Google or other third-party services
• reviews submitted to Verified Solicitors

Where practical, we distinguish regulatory data, firm-supplied information, Google information and Verified Solicitors reviews.

Firms may claim profiles and manage certain non-regulatory information.

Claiming a profile does not permit a firm to alter authoritative SRA regulatory information.

Verified Solicitors may display reviews collected through the platform and ratings originating from third-party services.

Third-party ratings, including Google ratings, are identified separately where appropriate.

Reviews represent the opinion of their authors and not Verified Solicitors.

Verified Solicitors may moderate, reject, hide or remove reviews that breach platform policies or applicable law.

Some functionality requires an account, including shortlists and enquiry management.

Users are responsible for:

• providing accurate information
• maintaining account security
• protecting login credentials
• notifying Verified Solicitors if an account may have been compromised

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for fraudulent or prohibited use.

Verified Solicitors may allow users to submit enquiries to one or multiple law firms.

Submitting an enquiry does not guarantee:

• a response
• acceptance of the matter
• availability
• absence of conflicts of interest
• creation of a solicitor-client relationship

A solicitor-client relationship is created only between the user and relevant legal services provider according to that provider's own procedures and terms.

Users should not assume information submitted through Verified Solicitors is protected by legal professional privilege merely because it concerns a legal matter.

Users should avoid providing unnecessary confidential information before a law firm confirms it can act.

Submitting an enquiry through Verified Solicitors does not stop or extend any legal limitation period, court deadline, appeal deadline or other time limit.

Users with urgent matters should obtain appropriate professional assistance directly.

Shortlists allow users to save firms for later consideration.

Saving a firm does not constitute endorsement or recommendation by Verified Solicitors and does not create a relationship with the firm.

Content including search classifications, practice-area descriptions, legal updates, explanatory material and automated search results is provided for general informational and navigation purposes.

It must not be relied upon as legal advice.

Verified Solicitors may display headlines, excerpts or links from external legal and regulatory sources.

Material remains attributable to its original publisher.

Verified Solicitors does not guarantee that third-party material is complete, current or applicable to individual circumstances.

Certain services may be offered to law firms on a paid basis.

Applicable prices, billing frequency and included services will be disclosed before purchase.

Additional commercial terms may apply to memberships, enhanced profiles, advertising, leads or professional services.

Paid arrangements do not permit alteration of authoritative SRA regulatory information.

Sponsored or promoted content is identified where required.

Users must not:

• use Verified Solicitors unlawfully or fraudulently
• impersonate another person or firm
• submit deliberately false reviews
• submit malicious or abusive content
• manipulate ratings or rankings
• systematically scrape platform data without permission
• interfere with platform operation or security
• attempt unauthorised access
• distribute spam or malicious software

The Verified Solicitors name, branding, website design, software and original content are owned by or licensed to Verified Law Ltd.

Third-party names, logos, data and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Verified Solicitors aims to maintain an available and accurate service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Parts of the service may be changed, suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary.

Verified Solicitors may link to law firms, regulators, publishers and other third-party services.

Verified Solicitors is not responsible for their availability, security, privacy practices or content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to applicable law, Verified Solicitors is not responsible for:

• legal advice provided by listed firms
• acts or omissions of solicitors or law firms
• whether firms accept cases
• outcomes of legal matters
• decisions based solely on rankings, ratings or reviews
• inaccuracies originating from third-party sources
• circumstances outside our reasonable control

Nothing affects statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Access may be restricted, suspended or terminated where a user breaches these Terms, misuses the platform, threatens security or acts unlawfully.

These Terms may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will be published on Verified Solicitors.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in this provision deprives consumers of mandatory jurisdiction rights under applicable consumer law.
