Not actually my solicitors, they are acting for the other side of my conveyancing transaction.

Zero chain, some minor complications but so far we are at month 7 of the sale. At each stage the seller have reached road blocks and not been ready for the next stage of the process. It's like it comes as a surprise. Nothing is lined up, no urgency what so ever, even though it has been reiterated time after time that this is a time sensitive sale, as it's actively cost me money.

I was unsure how to find a good solicitor as everyone I'd spoken to only told me to avoid theirs.

Finally a friend of a friend mentioned Birketts, and am so pleased they did. Emily Turner was fantastic and made the entire process so easy and smooth. I've already recommended her to a friend and will gladly continue to do so!

Buying our first property was more stressful than we expected, but Emily made the legal side of things much easier to handle.

She was straightforward with us from the beginning about timelines and what to expect. What we appreciated most was how Emily explained things in plain English rather than legal jargon. When we had questions (and we had plenty as first-time buyers), she'd respond quickly without making us feel stupid for asking. There were a couple of unexpected issues with the property (typical leasehold stuff) and Emily helped us navigate those with the seller efficiently. She was firm when she needed to be but always professional. Unlike some horror stories we'd heard from friends about solicitors being impossible to reach, Emily was reliable with communication and kept us updated throughout the process. If you're looking for a solicitor who's efficient, clear, and won't leave you hanging during your property purchase, we'd definitely recommend Emily from Birketts.

DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM , AVOID AT ALL COSTS , BY FAR THE WORSE REPRESENTATION FROM THE BARRISTER THEY GIVE TO REPRESENT ME AND GOT THE MAXIMUM…

SENTENCE THEY CAN HAND OUT (250 hours plus additional 50 so 300 in total ) FOR COMMUNTIY SERVICE AND IT WAS ONLY A SECTION 4 MY OWN PROBATION OFFIER SAID IT WAS EXTREME AND EXCESSIVE FOR THE OFFENSE CONSIDERING OTHERS HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO GET 80hrs FOR CARRYING A KNIFE. Not only was the barrister useless and didn't not argue the sentence was excessive she mislead me when the other person didn't turn up and no they are still trying to charge me for her misleading information which cost me an approximately £1500 I can't remember as th case was about 3-4 years ago and still trying to get payment time to Parthianon to the law ombudsman.

Had a very positive experience with Birketts whilst selling and buying our property.

We had a few unusual instances in our process and Emily was incredibly helpful in navigating us through it. She kept us well informed and also helped keep everything moving. Would recommend them to others.
