Avoid ! Beverly Watkins advised us to accept a non molestation order despite being innocent to save on court fees.

I was later falsely accused of breaching the order which has lead to two arrests and 24 hours in a police cell with no charge made, not Beverly’s fault there but I was NOT advised that I wouldn’t be entitled to legal aid having accepting the order through Beverly’s advice. She was aware that I was going to court to try and gain access to my daughter and all of this has hugely gone against me especially with not being able to afford legal representation. I was later advised by separate legal firms that I should never have accepted the order.

Watkins Solicitors have gone above and beyond for our childs very difficult and drawn out SEN Tribunal case against the LA.

Thank goodness we instructed them when we did as we simply would never have had the knowledge or experience to get the hugely successful outcome, that Watkins Solicitors achieved for us. They shouldered so much for us, when it was the most stressful time. Also, this was all happening over the Christmas period! However, we never once felt we were on our own or couldn't reach out for assurance and had a very speedy response, even when everything else was closed or shut! Emma Thompson, especially, was exemplary. Her ability to know exactly what to do, how much to push when and how, took such a huge burden off of our shoulders and gave us a real feeling of trust and assurance that no matter what curve balls the LA may have thrown, she was there with us. Beverly Watkins, who has over 25years SEN/Education law experience, should be incredibly proud of the practice she has grown and the staff that work for her. Watkins Solicitors give SEN parents who are facing totally uncharted and frankly terrifying territory throughout SEN Tribunals a place of safety, incredible knowledge of education law and peace of mind that their child's Tribunal case is in the very safe and experienced hands of total experts. We would not hesitate to use them again in the future or recommend Watkins to family or friends. Absolutely first class.

Amazing service from Emma.

Efficient, professional and personable. Emma’s knowledge and experience in the SEN education system was astounding. She guided us and advised us of any additional requirements needed to support our case. We are extremely grateful for the way she conducted the whole process; she made it extremely stressful free. There were active communication’s to the LA for updates on our case. And she was always prompt to reply to any of our queries. I highly recommend!

Our solicitor Emma Thompson did an amazing job for us.

Clear communication from the outset, a win for us and at a very reasonable fixed fee. Would (and have) highly recommend.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Emily Mitton at Watkins Solicitors representing on a education law matter.

From the very beginning, Emily was professional, compassionate, and highly knowledgeable. She kept me informed at every stage and showed genuine dedication to achieving the best outcome for my child. What truly stood out was how accessible and supportive Emily was through legal aid for a judicial review. This made it possible for me to challenge the local authority effectively and secure what my child is legally entitled to. Emily went above and beyond to ensure every detail was addressed and handled with care. I would highly recommend Emily and Watkins Solicitors to any parent needing specialist support in education law. Their expertise, professionalism, and genuine commitment to families make a difficult process far more manageable and empowering.
