I instructed this solicitor to represent me in child arrangements proceedings. A key part of their role was to ensure that the evidence I provided was submitted to the court and that the other party’s statements were properly challenged. Unfortunately, this did not happen. I supplied text messages from my son that were directly relevant to the case, but these were not produced in court. I was not informed that this evidence had been omitted , which meant I had no opportunity to correct the issue. In addition, the other party made several contradictory statements during the proceedings, including claiming on three separate occasions to have cancer and later stating that he had never had cancer. These inconsistencies were not raised or challenged by my solicitor during cross‑examination. These failures had a serious impact on the outcome of the case. I am now limited to one phone call a week with my son, a situation that might have been avoided had my evidence been presented and the inconsistencies in the other party’s statements been addressed. I expected my solicitor to act with diligence, accuracy, and proper representation, but this did not occur. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this solicitor for family law matters.
