My personal experience with Baker McKenzie was frustrating and, at times, overwhelming. I understand that litigation is adversarial and that solicitors must act in their client’s interests, but I felt the approach taken in my case was very aggressive. From my perspective, the firm’s involvement across civil, criminal and employment proceedings made matters feel even more complex, especially where it was not always clear to me how different teams were working in relation to the wider dispute. That lack of clarity added to the stress and, in my view, may also have contributed to the overall costs becoming so high. The communication was professional, but I did not find the overall experience constructive or proportionate.
