If I could give them a -5 this would be perfect. Avoid if you want communication or follow-through. I contacted DJMS Solicitors regarding a serious legal matter and was told I would be contacted the same day. It has now been five weeks with no response, no update, and no explanation, despite chasing. They were quick to have me sign Legal Aid paperwork, but after that, communication completely stopped. Given the seriousness of the situation, this lack of engagement is extremely concerning — clearly it wasn’t that serious to them. Based on my experience, I will also be raising concerns with the Legal Aid Agency Counter Fraud and Investigations team. If you need a solicitor who communicates or progresses your case, I strongly suggest going elsewhere.
