Me and my partner had a very disappointing experience with Pinkney Grunwells Solicitors, specifically working with Peter Noble and Nicki Boyes over the course of nearly two years. Throughout the entire process, communication was consistently poor and lacked clarity. We often felt overwhelmed and uncertain about what was happening in our case. When we tried to seek clarity or updates, it frequently felt as though we were pestering them, and at times there was a sense that our contact was an inconvenience rather than part of their role in supporting us. On multiple occasions, we were encouraged to pursue actions in a dispute with our neighbour that did not seem appropriate or in our best interests. Rather than feeling supported, it felt like we were having to challenge our own solicitors’ advice, and in many cases, our own reasoning seemed more aligned with our situation. The service did not feel client-focused. At several points, we genuinely questioned whether our best interests were being considered at all. When the case reached court, matters became even more concerning. The incorrect bundle was sent, and there were numerous avoidable errors that reflected a lack of care and organisation. We were also given information that was later contradicted, which further eroded our confidence in the firm. Despite ultimately winning in court, the way the case was handled resulted in us losing money, which was incredibly frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend Pinkney Grunwells Solicitors to anyone looking for clear, reliable advice, strong communication, and representation that truly feels like it is on your side. Our experience was deeply disappointing.
