We are currently selling my dad's house and unfortunately our experience with solicitor Sophie Shepherd has been very disappointing. Communication has been poor throughout the process. It is extremely difficult to get hold of her, and when we call, messages are often left without a timely response. Selling a property is stressful enough without having to constantly chase your solicitor for updates. What makes this even more frustrating is that their fees are higher than many other solicitors in the area, yet the level of service has not reflected the premium price. We expected proactive communication, regular updates, and accessibility when issues arose, but that has not been our experience. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this firm if you value good communication and customer service during a property sale.
