I've had a few dealings with Pengillys Solicitors over the past few years, and my experiences have been mixed. About a year ago, I needed help with a particularly challenging situation, and the receptionist and office staff were exceptional. They were kind, compassionate and genuinely supportive, and I came away feeling very well looked after. More recently, I contacted the firm following the death of my mother. Unfortunately, this experience was quite different. As my family has used the firm for many years, I had expected a little more empathy and understanding during what was a difficult time. There was no acknowledgement of my loss, and overall I found the service to be rather transactional rather than supportive. The legal work itself was fine, but I think the experience very much depends on who you happen to deal with. Based on my experiences, the level of customer care has been inconsistent.
