I contacted Pickering and Butters last year to ascertain whether they could take on my medical negligence claim on a no win, no fee basis. Right from the initial call I was impressed. A very helpful solicitor named Caroline was extremely helpful, and then I was allocated to James Wallbank. James worked tirelessly and is ultra-efficient. What I like about this legal practice is that they are totally transparent. You hear terrible stories about people being made to pay thousands even on a no win, no fee basis, but James explained everything in great detail, and they use the best insurers to ensure you’re covered. I am unsure at this point whether my claim will come to fruition, but it was never about the money for me. It was about holding the health company that treated me so badly to account, and I have achieved that, so I´ve reached my goal. They have been forced to look at my case in detail and, even though they won’t admit it, I hope I may have prevented the same thing happening to someone else. All I wanted was for Pickering and Butters to get paid for all their hard works and hours spent, and if I got even one pound, I’d have been happy, as without them I’d have nothing anyway. The excellent James took some time off and I was handed back to Caroline, who again is absolutely first class. They are all nice, genuine, and extremely helpful people, right from reception staff to the secretaries you deal with. I would, and already have, recommended this law firm and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again should I ever need to.
