Myself and my siblings inherited the family home when our mum passed unexpectedly last year. Up until that point, we had all had limited experience with solicitors and upon deciding that i was going to buy them out to get a mortgage on the home, we all found various solicitors online to get the ball rolling. Each of us then discovered that that not all solicitors adhere to a standard of practice that one would expect...in fact, some can behave in completely atrocious ways and can be so unprofessional that you wonder how they haven't had disgruntled customers turn up at their offices to pay them a friendly punch in the face. Due to bad choices in solicitors, we lost 3 months of our 6 month mortgage offer. But luckily, that's when we visited ABS Solicitors. These guys know how to do their job right. They not only saved us from losing our home and getting our mortgage through in time, but they were massively supportive and patient at times when we really felt like everything was falling apart. Even simple things like having a switchboard on their phone system in which you can actually speak to the person you need to speak to, rather than speaking to a secretary who will "pass your message on" or say "the solicitor will call you later" and then you are left for a week with no response. They treat you like a human being, rather than with contempt like other solicitors, who the simple act of asking for an update is treated like you've asked them to cancel their birthday plans or served them a plate of dirt for dinner. I cannot recommend Becky and her team enough. Thank you guys for everything xx
