Was arrested and held in police station. Asked for a solicitor and a solicitor from JSP called Alex arrived. I thought the best thing to do would be to take the advice given and follow his instructions. Little did I know at the time that would turn out to be one of the worst decisions of my life. Long story short I'm now free again to live my life after going through hell for the last couple of years. All they wanted to do was prolong my case to extract as much from the legal aid fund as they possibly could. If on the first interview I would of gave my side of the story in interview the matter could of been dealt with by way of a warning /caution/community resolution ( I've only recently found this out) Alex never told me this may of been an option at the time. Ive turned my life around since those dark days but should I ever find myself in a police cell again I won't be asking JSP for any advice to get me out of there because clearly they are only in it for the money.
