⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ After what has been an unbelievably difficult few years, I can genuinely say that Susan Jubb has changed my life. My daughter was only two months old when me and my then-partner separated. From that point onwards, my time with my daughter was very, very limited. I'd pick her up, take her for a nap, spend what little time I could with her, and then I'd have to take her back. That was my reality. I didn't have my little girl overnight until she was just over two years old. As a dad, I can't properly explain what that felt like. I just wanted to be her dad. I wanted to wake up with her, put her to bed, take her places, make memories, and be there for the everyday things that most parents probably take for granted. Eventually I was having two nights a week with her, but I desperately wanted more. I wanted my daughter to have the opportunity to have both of her parents properly involved in her life. I don't have much family support around me either, so I had to think very carefully about how I could make things work. I made the decision to change jobs and reduce my working week from five days to four days. It was a big decision, and obviously it had an impact financially and personally, but being there for my daughter was more important to me. I wanted to make sure that if I was asking the court for more time with my daughter, I could genuinely provide that time and be there for her properly. In January 2026, after years of having such limited time with my daughter, we made the application to court. At the hearing in April, my time with my daughter increased from two nights to three nights. Then came the final hearing on 18 June 2026. I'll never forget that day. The court granted a lives-with order and 50/50 shared care. 50/50. After everything. My daughter turned four in August 2026, and now I get to have her properly in my life. I get to be her dad in the way I've always wanted to be. And Susan was there every step of the way. I genuinely don't think I could have got through it without her. She isn't the sort of solicitor who makes you feel like you're just another client or another invoice. She genuinely cares. She cares about the children, she cares about getting the right outcome, and she cares about doing things properly. There were times when I was stressed, upset, angry, confused and probably a complete nightmare to deal with, but Susan always had a way of putting my mind at ease. You pick up the phone to her and you immediately feel like you're in safe hands. She's unbelievably knowledgeable. She's thorough. She's proactive. She's on top of absolutely everything. I never felt like I had to chase her to do something — she was already on it. And the biggest thing for me is that I trusted her. I trusted her completely. She became far more than just my solicitor throughout this process. She's become someone I genuinely consider a friend, and I will always be incredibly grateful for everything she has done for me and, most importantly, for my daughter. There were times I genuinely felt lost. Times I thought, "Am I ever going to get more time with my little girl?" To go from barely having any time with her to having 50/50 shared care and a lives-with order is something I still struggle to put into words. I'm not going to pretend the process was easy, because it wasn't. Having to go to court just to try to have more time with your own child is something I will never understand. But if you're in that position, and you're looking for someone to stand beside you and guide you through it, I couldn't recommend Susan highly enough. She is kind. She is caring. She is incredibly knowledgeable. She fights for the right outcome. And she genuinely gives a damn. Susan, if you ever read this, thank you. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for listening. Thank you for putting my mind at ease when I didn't know what was going to happen. Thank you for fighting my corner. You are an absolute Wonder Woman. I will never forget what you've done for me and my daughter. Five stars doesn't even come close. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
