I have never encountered a more unprofessional company in any sector. The lack of response and inability to answer questions or emails in a timely manner is unacceptable. A cash deal took nearly 6 months to complete due to the incompetence of this solicitors practice. I am sure the law society is unaware of the type of solicitors they have allowed to be part of their reputable company. The amount of stress, anxiety and upset that they caused a family with a very young baby is immeasurable. Their lock of respect to anyone including estate agents and solicitors was highlighted when it took them weeks to even acknowledge an email. We all understand that COVID has had a big impact on all business’ but this is no excuse for this company not even having the courtesy to respond to an email or phone message. I say phone message as no one answers the phone at their practice and even when you get through it is a generic voicemail you would have at home, highly unprofessional This firm also cost their client additional tax fees, due to their inability to act in a timely manner. Every other party in this chain was ready to exchange and compete over 2 months before this solicitor decided to assist and act accordingly. I would never wish anyone to go through what we went through with this company. I myself have worked in the property industry for 15 years and have never encountered such terrible service and communication. I hope Gavin nor Lisa never have to ever experience the unrest, anxiety and upset they put people through for months.
