Called to get a quote for purchase conveyancing. Was informed that I would need to be booked in for a consultation at a cost for this. Ridiculous - all the other solicitors managed to give a quote having spent a few minutes taking basic details. Ripping people off ain’t good for business. Thank you, but no thanks. Plenty of other conveyancers out their on your door step in fact. Just had a look at reviews. Sorry to hear folks have been unhappy with their service. Remember people - if you are unhappy with something you can report to the SRA (Solicitors Regulation Authority). Contact them they’ll advise you in what to do.
