I found the people polite here, however I also found it to be very disorganised. I can see one review where someone has attended several times for business help? Which is worrying if they get help and have a business (presumably this person has money) but my interaction was quite fumbled and awkward. With a lot of false narratives. A business owner got help but in my case, with an education and past career in IT, I sent an email mail December 2025, got no response so proceeded under my own research, got my case approved in court despite qualified solicitors (on mass) saying it would not be accepted. The team here stated thy didn’t have my email, it would be an impossibility for them not to have it (IT service does not pick and choose emails - it was either deleted or went or junk - but it was sent) I am awaiting a hearing and came here 8:30am as per the times on google. I sat waiting and found the times are wrong it opens at 9am. I was met at the front reception with evasive answers and no help, I explained I had emailed, I was indirectly made to feel I was somehow wrong ? It was a polite yet condescending air as they instructed me of procedures I must follow that I had done in principle but got no reply. I explained all of this but… no a complete lack of empathy and a block, with an assurance of an email to re-direct me to people that will help, which is already a paradoxical approach because not one of those contacts ever answer or reply “citizens advice being the worst culprit” I was there in the end with three people present an older lady smiling in a belittling way at me as I explained my issues, another lady who was active and appeared to show empathy but the actions did not match the behaviour. Another lady, the first person I met who more or less said I hadn’t emailed because she couldn’t find it. Ok? That’s kind of why I visited, based on no reply which is mirrored today because despite those three people being present I still have no email from them with the info they promised. It’s no wonder there is a growing issue in the legal system if that’s the next generation to come into force. Overall a waste of an email, a waste of a trip, bus journey and cost. I was met with excuses so poor and transparent they were immediately see through, standard I’m sorry I can accept your issues but a resounding no I’m a polite tone. The outcome = zero from a service that is designed to help people, a very neat well funded plush, clean unmanned office environment which apparently has awards ? The best experience from this visit - leaving.
