My husband’s experience with Saunders Solicitors in London was extremely disappointing and unprofessional from beginning to end. The firm wasted a significant amount of his time and failed to handle his case with the skill or care it required. Despite the seriousness of the matter, his case was assigned to a junior solicitor who, in our experience, did not have the level of knowledge or competence needed to deal with it properly. Key issues were mishandled, communication was poor, and concerns were repeatedly ignored. In our experience, we were given inconsistent and misleading information throughout the case. The solicitor handling the matter, Caitlin, repeatedly avoided phone calls and failed to respond when contact was needed. When communication did occur, statements made did not match what later transpired, which led us to believe we were not being dealt with honestly. Attempts to resolve issues were made even more difficult by rude and dismissive behaviour from reception staff, which only added to the frustration and lack of professionalism we encountered. When concerns were escalated, the director was rude, patronising, and dismissive rather than taking accountability or addressing the issues raised. Overall, it felt like there was a culture of covering up mistakes and protecting one another rather than acting in the best interests of the client. Based on my husband’s experience, we would strongly advise others to avoid this firm. Anyone looking for professional, transparent, and competent legal representation would be better off elsewhere.
