I contacted this solicitor today regarding my boyfriend's case. Initially, the receptionist was pleasant and transferred me to Cheryl, the solicitor. Unfortunately, my experience with Cheryl was disappointing from the start, as she came across as rude and dismissive. She stated that she would not be able to speak with me, despite my boyfriend having already provided written permission for me to discuss the matter on his behalf, which was included in the paperwork submitted to the firm. When I called back to clarify this and advised that I had a copy of the form showing my details, Cheryl responded by saying she didn't know who I was and admitted that she hadn't even looked at the paperwork. My boyfriend then called the office himself and was told by the receptionist that I had been calling all day, when in reality I had only called twice. I'm actually grateful that we had this experience before paying any deposit or proceeding further. It has allowed us to look elsewhere for a solicitor who is professional, approachable, and will make what is already a stressful process a more positive experience.
