This company is very exploitative. If you're looking for a lawyer who will have your back, give you solid advice and act in your best interest, look elsewhere. I found this company very disrespectful. The communication was often off. Just rude and unprofessional. They answer the phone with a grumbling "hello" like they've just woken from a nap. That should have been a red flag. During a time of considerable distress, I was given poor, confusing advice and charged exploitatively high fees. I'd fully avoid this company. There are far far better lawyers out there. Complaining to Legal Ombudsman. Wish I'd never bothered with SBL. Six grand wasted. Which I bet they're very pleased about.
