Very poor and extremely rude first impression at this solicitor’s office. I brought my elderly father with me specifically to speak to them about making a will, expecting a professional and respectful service. Unfortunately, the experience was the complete opposite. When we arrived, the door was locked and staff refused to open it. Instead, they tried to speak to us through the closed door, which already felt very unwelcoming and disrespectful, especially considering I had brought my elderly father with me. We were told to call a phone number, so we did and explained that we wanted help with making a will. After the call, the door was finally opened, but the attitude inside was just as bad. There was no greeting, no politeness, and no attempt to explain anything. We were simply handed an account number and told to send the money for the will service. There was absolutely no explanation of the process or what would happen next. This was our very first interaction with them and it was shockingly rude and dismissive. When I said we were leaving because we had never been treated like that by a solicitor before, the lady responded with “Well, the door is there.” When I said I knew where the door was and that we were leaving, she continued with a rude tone saying she was telling me how to leave. For a first impression of a professional service, this was incredibly disappointing. The whole interaction felt disrespectful and unprofessional, especially given that I had brought my elderly father there expecting proper guidance and care. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this office.
