I’ve had the “delightful” experience of dealing with Scott Cohen Solicitors — a firm that, in my personal opinion and based on my experience, operates with a level of integrity that can only be described as… optional. My interactions with Hollie and Callum did nothing to change that impression. In my personal experience, I would strongly advise avoiding dealing with these individuals; based on my interactions with Scott Cohen Ltd, there was a complete lack of professionalism. It became a waste of time and energy, and in my opinion, the responses I received were completely meaningless and purely bureaucratic. At Scott Cohen, they seem to have mastered the art of being technically “contactable” while remaining practically unreachable. In my personal opinion, there is no functional complaints route they are willing to disclose voluntarily, endless phone waiting times, and bureaucracy so excessive it feels intentionally obstructive. From my experience, the number of potential SRA‑related concerns raised by their approach — whether you have instructed them as your solicitors or have simply been required to engage with them — is beyond anything I would have expected. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably run into the same issues I did. Don’t skip this. If you feel it’s the right step for you, consider reporting them to the SRA. The form is straightforward, and you simply email it to (report) at (sra.org.uk). Just google “report firm to SRA” — it’s the first thing that comes up. Another option is legal ombudsman.
