I drove uninsured and was caught by the police, issued a FPN and 6 points (IN10) in May 2025. I was really scared to submit my application to home office. This lingered for over 6 weeks, I was still so afraid that my appplication will be rejected. I asked Mrs Sana, the solicitor that was handling the case a countless time her thought about my application. Sana told me this was a mistake and a one off driving offence which was paid immediately. However, this should be disclosed honestly. I should explain exactly what happened, she will take it from there. I was not still convinced because of the stories I read about driving offences and ILR. I narrated exactly my circumstance. This was stressful exercise but I have to provide every document she requested. She submitted my application and fortunately, we got the super priority option. I was already regreting why I even went for this option. My solicitor kept encouraging me that my case is straight forward. I went for biometric on 24 February 2926 at 11:30 and I sent a message to her around 13:20 to let her know that I have done this. After an hour, I got a call from Sana that my leave to remain has been granted. I went mad for 5 minutes before becoming normal again. This is magical! My leave to remain was decided within less than 2 hours after biometrics.
