I was in court for nearly 3 years for both the child care and the finance cases, Kay Burford (Senior Family Caseworker) actually picked me up at the one stop shop and got me into safe housing and got my first non- molostation order through and then I worked with her and Dawn Berry (Head of Family Law) throughout. Both honestly felt like family in the end, got me through when it felt tough gave me the strength to keep going. I could tell they genuinely cared, they knew my case inside and out, giving the best advice and put in so much extra time. There was so many late night calls as you can imagine with the othersides last minute statements and holding on to that control, but they were there no matter what time. These ladies were so professional and so experienced, were brilliant in there support and there advice. As a result it couldn’t have gone any better with what was needed to keep my child safe and get my child (now 4 yrs old) the home he needs. I put it down to this brilliant duo what a team going above and beyond. The fact that they did legal aid was amazing I’m so greatful, we were up against big firms but when you let the evidence speak for itself and how it’s presented makes all the difference. I will forever be grateful for how they gave us this new happy life.
