I can only imagine that the solicitor dealing with the person who left a 1 star review has left this firm, because I recently contacted them off the back of an excellent recommendation by my friend who instructed them in the recent sale of his house. He and I both separately found this firm to be knowledgeable, empathetic (not always easy to find in a law firm!) and very fair with their rates; they didn't bill my friend for any unnecessary time, were prompt and efficient and were even ready 2 weeks ahead of his buyer! I didn't get as far as instructing as I regretfully decided to pull out of the offer I had had accepted on a flat due to the impending market crash (today is 1 July 2020) but I spoke at length with Pauline, who patiently took quite some time to set out my options very clearly, which I really needed to hear as I was struggling to make a decision. Despite that, she didn't charge me for her time or advice and as a result I have recommended her to another friend looking to sell, and Adrian Stables will be the first solicitors I contact once I get back to my search in the next few months. Very impressed overall with the service.
